Dear blog readers, I wish you all a year full of love, creativity and above all – good music.
This video is a small thank-you for your support and features my arrangement of two of the most loved Christmas songs: The Christmas Song (Bob Wells, Mel Tormé) and Let It Snow (Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn).
I shot the video in a few short takes using my new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Canon EF 18-55 mm f/3,5-5,6 kit lens. Audio was recorded separately using my two trusty Oktava Mk-012 microphones with Michael Joly’s MJE-K47H Capsule heads and synced-up later in Final Cut Pro X.
I hope you’ll enjoy the video and am really looking forward to share some exciting new projects with you in 2015 as well as lots of new YouTube videos!
Uros, thanks for sharing your passion. It is easy to see your love for the CG.. I’m learning to play the Christmas song but I like your arrangement better. is there any chance you could share either the notation or tab? I’ll keep going with what i have (challenging chords) in the meantime. Have a wonderful holiday season and happy and joyful 2016. Cheers, Milo
