Last Sunday I set up a quick impromptu recording/video shooting session and played some of the most beautiful studies from Fernando Sor‘s 24 Exercices très faciles, Op.35 – n.1, n.13, n.17 and n.22.

Update: All the videos are already up on YouTube, if you like them please also subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Since the score is in public domain you may download it for free from the Petrucci Music Library (look for Book 1 and Book 2).

This time the videos are one angle only, with a single (unedited) performance. Audio track was recorded at my project studio in Zavrhek, Slovenia, using a pair of Oktava Mk-012 mics modded by Michael Joly and a Rode NT-1A with Michael Joly’s MJE-K47 capsule, run through Metric Halo ULN-2 preamps and converters.

Video was shot with a Canon EOS 600D (Rebel T3i) using Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 lens.
