My approach to teaching
My approach to teaching guitar is highly personalized, designed to cater to your unique goals and aspirations. I strive to create a friendly and supportive environment where you feel comfortable and motivated to learn. Each lesson lasts a full 60 minutes, ensuring we have ample time to explore concepts in depth. After each session, I’ll provide you with detailed notes in PDF format, so you can easily reference what we covered.
I’m dedicated to working with whatever repertoire you’re currently engaged with while also offering additional exercises, studies, and pieces to help fill any gaps in your technique. This tailored approach allows us to build your skills progressively, one step at a time, ensuring that the learning experience is both enjoyable and productive.
Together, we’ll set achievable goals that align with your musical journey, focusing on the positives and celebrating your progress as you reach new levels of expertise.
In addition to guitar lessons, I’m available to guide you in making music arrangements and help you understand the basic concepts of adapting pieces for guitar. I also offer music and video production lessons, focused on optimizing your home recording workflow.
