I’ve long wanted to record this beautiful piece, but could never achieve the sound I wanted for this piece. With my recent purchase of the amazing Schoeps CMC6 MK21, however, I think I was able to capture the full intensity, colors and depth of this composition.
La Muerte, composed by Eduardo Sainz de la Maza, is part of the suite Platero Y Yo, inspired by the great Spanish writer and poet Juan Ramón Jiménez.
