I’ve just finished making the official website for a friend of mine, talented classical guitarist Jure Cerkovnik. Jure has done all of his recordings in my studio as well, so I’d like to encourage you to pay this site a visit and listen to his interpretations of Jose, Scarlatti and Assad.

For the logo I used Syncopate font – a free font also available as a Google Web font. In my opinion it completed my goal of creating a minimalistic, dark and modern website very nicely.

The WordPress theme used for this project is Lambert WP Theme which I purchased and customized to some extent so it could be used as a musician’s website. Besides, I used Events plugin as an event manager (try it – it’s simple but effective) and Custom widgets plugin to display different sidebar photos for each page. In case not everybody recognized it, the beautiful audio player is from SoundCloud – I’m pretty excited about this service and really thinking to go that extra mile and purchase the Lite upgrade.

What do you think of the outcome?
